Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission in MAIT 2025
For Indian Students (General Category)
Must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent from a recognised board
Mandatory subjects: Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
Third subject: Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Technical Vocational Subject
Minimum aggregate: 45% marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry/CS, Mathematics)
Must have a valid IPU CET B.Tech score (Code 131) OR a JEE Mains 2025 score
Age: Should have completed 17 years as on 31st December of the admission year
For SC/ST/OBC/PwD Students
Minimum 40% aggregate in PCM (5% relaxation from general category requirement)
Category certificate from a competent authority is mandatory
Seat reservation as per Delhi Government norms: SC — 15%, ST — 7.5%, OBC — 27%
For Lateral Entry (Direct 2nd Year Admission)
Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology from AICTE-approved institutions
Minimum 60% marks in Diploma for General; 55% for SC/ST
Admission through GGSIPU Lateral Entry CET (separate paper)
